Founder
Mr. Kamalakar V. Athalye established the Athalye Group in 1984 with the first company ARK Thermal Insulation, and eventually went on to establish ARK Noise Control, with a pioneering vision to deliver world-class industrial noise control solutions from India to the global market. Over more than three decades, Mr. K. V. Athalye built the company from the ground up — personally leading the design and execution of hundreds of noise control & thermal insulation projects across refineries, power plants, petrochemical complexes, and manufacturing facilities in India and abroad. His unwavering commitment to engineering excellence, deep technical expertise, and dedication to his clients established ARK Noise Control as a trusted name in industrial acoustics. His vision and values continue to guide the Athalye Group and ARK Noise Control even today.

Chintan Athalye mainly looks after Operations, Product Development, Strategic Growth, and the Consultancy Wing of the Athalye Group. He holds a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with specialization in Acoustics & Vibrations from Wayne State University, Detroit, USA. A ‘Quality Council of India’ approved ‘Functional Area Expert – Category A’ for Noise & Vibrations, he combines deep academic expertise with extensive hands-on experience in acoustic design, computational simulation, noise source identification, and the development of innovative noise control solutions for complex industrial applications.

As Executive Director of ARK Thermal Insulation and ARK Noise Control (India), Ritwik Athalye looks after Strategic Growth, Marketing & Business Development, Process Improvement, Customer Relations, and the technical aspects of the Thermal & Acoustic Insulation Jacket product lines. He holds an MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, with specialization in Thermal Engineering & IC Engines. His technical depth and strategic outlook enable him to identify new market opportunities, strengthen client partnerships, and continuously optimize manufacturing and operational processes to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.

PhD (NCL, Pune) and MBA, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, USA
Meghana Athalye is in-charge of HR and administration, continuous improvement projects, and certifications and compliances at ARK Noise Control. With a PhD from NCL, Pune and an MBA from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, she brings analytical rigour and strategic thinking to drive organizational excellence. She oversees talent management, process improvement initiatives, and ensures the company maintains its ISO and other quality certifications and regulatory compliances.
