Thermal Imaging

Infrared Thermography for Predictive Maintenance and Energy Optimization

Overview

About Thermal Imaging

ARK Noise Control offers professional thermal imaging (infrared thermography) services for industrial facilities, providing non-contact temperature measurement and visualization to identify hidden problems before they lead to failures, energy waste, or safety incidents. Our certified thermographers use high-resolution infrared cameras to survey electrical systems, mechanical equipment, insulation systems, refractory linings, and building envelopes, detecting anomalies that are invisible to the naked eye. Thermal imaging is a powerful predictive maintenance and energy audit tool. In the context of our core noise and thermal insulation business, we use infrared thermography to identify insulation failures and missing insulation on hot piping and equipment, locate steam trap malfunctions (failed open or failed closed), detect refractory degradation in furnaces and kilns, and find air leaks in compressed air systems that contribute to both energy waste and noise. Our thermal imaging reports include calibrated temperature measurements, thermal images with comparative analysis, severity classification of detected anomalies, and prioritized recommendations for corrective action.
