NoiseLAG / HeatLAG is ARK Noise Control's proprietary line of removable acoustic + thermal insulation jackets designed to reduce noise and heat loss from pipes, valves, turbines, heat exchangers, compressors, and other industrial equipment. Unlike permanent lagging or rigid enclosures, NoiseLAG / HeatLAG jackets can be easily installed, removed, and reinstalled without any modification to the underlying equipment — making them ideal for applications where regular maintenance access is required. With over 1500 units installed at industrial sites worldwide, NoiseLAG / HeatLAG jackets have a proven track record of delivering up to 10 dB(A) of noise reduction in real-world operating conditions. Each jacket is custom-fitted to the exact geometry of the equipment using detailed site measurements or 3D scanning / modeling, ensuring a snug fit that eliminates acoustic leakage paths. The jackets are constructed with high-performance acoustic infill materials sandwiched between durable, weather-resistant outer layers. NoiseLAG / HeatLAG jackets are particularly effective in situations where traditional rigid enclosures are impractical due to space constraints, the need for frequent equipment access, or the complexity of piping and valve configurations.
